hope

its not what it seems

high hopes, good intentions

reality's not lining up with my dreams

is it real?

is it there?

a fool i am,

because i still care

i still do dream

i still do hope

but

i wont feel hurt

and i wont mope

life should be sweet

What I did at work today?

planting rows of corn by hand

between blades of grass life goes on

all but the motionless rock stir

they sway w/every breeze

the coolness of the earth

they're at ease

somewhere & nowhere

somewhere & nowhere

sometimes i crave it

being able to just sit

 in my bodys sheer silence

not even pondering the world around me

just letting the cracked window bring in the refreshing breeze 

while my body invites it to dance upon it

eyes opened or closed. nothing matters

breathing & being

& nothing more

no time. no place. no thoughts. just peace
just peace
