Bob Dylan Knows Whats Up

Is your money that good
Will it buy you forgiveness
Do you think that it could
I think you will find
When your death takes its toll
All the money you made
Will never buy back your soul

-Bob Dylan ''Master's of War''

training my tracks

trains are so soothing
despite the noise they make
they have a certain rhythm
that never makes mistakes
they seem to be so peaceful
and when you are awake
the quietness of the tracks
steadies each breath you take

if it werent for the creepers & the need to get off at a stop, i would totally sleep on trains

sun screenplay

Sun Screenplay

like a movie premeire
the window is my screen
the sun is the celebrity
brightly dressed in sheen
the trees watch with me
but from the other side
keeping focus on the sun
the sight thats seen worldwide
this is a movie, directed by mind
one that can always be watched
every evening as i unwind

i write random poetry. i know.

snOMG

so i was sitting in my room snowed in with 40mph winds blowing past my window.
since i know i cant make them go away, i decided to indirectly speak to them through some poetry
yes, i am a weird kid.

so heres to you crazy loud wind/thundersnow,

speak to me gusts of wind
i want to know your way
i want to know your strength
i want to make trees sway

lend me some of your power
lend me some of your voice
you were first to speak to me
so now you have no choice ;)

i.love.this.

"There is pleasure in the pathless woods,
There is rapture on the lonely shore,
There is society where none intrudes,
By the deep sea and the music in its roar;
I love not man the less, but Nature more."
— Lord Byron

what an inspiration. i can reread this a hundred times. so beautiful

just a memory of mine

Wake(up)Boarding

An early rise
the lake is still
like glass it shines
motionless & tranquil

i wait my turn
i admire the lake
  watching the kid ride by
gliding effortlessly across the wake

through squinted eyes i continue to gaze
too early to be fully conscious
the sun puts me into a daze

i extend my legs and relax
welcoming the sun
as it beams on my back

in my ears the speakers cry
competing with the wind
this is my lullaby

the boat is my cradle
it rocks me to sleep
allowing my body to rest
and my dreams to steep
